Hi all.

So, I decided to do the Holiday Special a little bit early, and consequently The Bloo Sparkly is now available for your viewing enjoyment.

Hoo boy, this one took me a lot longer than the last one because of certain animation schemes (I'm lookin' at you, Sparkly Bloo). I'm not sure if I'm quite done with it, but if I do end up tweaking it a bit, I'll just release a director's cut (:

Time to go rest my eyes. Enjoy!

YOU.

Are unbelieveably.

BRILLIANT.

I've only watched it once, and at parts I was laughing too hard and I bet I missed something... but between the "wicked smart" and "yo" I think I needed to change my pants.

BRAVA! Oh man, the Bloo Sparkly was sooooo blue and sparkly! OH and good gravy, Harry Potter? Kid Rock? Alan Smithee??

You win at life.

I'm going to watch the movie again. *cartwheels*

Oh my God. If it's all right with your family and all, may I marry you? The string of Ryder's aliases was HILARIOUS.

Hurrah!!! The BLOO SPARKLY!!!

*is transfixed*

And I loved Holmes' strongbox of sparkly things. Everyone needs one of those, I think.

Fantastic work, Whorl. Really, thank you so much for catering to we lot of whiny beggars.

"Ooh, a flashback!"

oh my goodness. This is priceless! Why is it, upon watching this, I can now see the parallels between the Bloo Sparkly and the One Ring? heehee.

I love Holmes' purple dressing gown.

Beautiful whorl! Just beautiful!

I don't think there's anything more preciously hilarious than seeing Holmes immediately grab hold of the Bloo Sparkly so possessively. The small *yoinks* and *doffs* Watson and he make when they're playing with the hat are especially amusing. The only thing that trumps it is their conversation with Peterson as he's still lying on the floor, post swooning. Taken literally, it's just too funny to be had!

I think The League of Extraordinary Redheads is still my fave, but this is definitely comic genius! Can I put in an early request for your next masterpiece and beg you to do A Scandal in Bohemia?

OMG Whorl! You are BRILLIANT!!!! I loved it! I think I laughed too hard to catch all of it! Holmes being all possessive of the Bloo sparkly was just ADORABLE! OMG! You are AMAZING! I think I might have to fight Sidhe for your hand in marriage! HAHAHAHAHAHA! Can I beg you for Speckled Band? Whorl you are seriously amazing! :)

I've gotta admit, this was precisely the point where I decided once and for all to join this message board.

There are so very many parts that had me laughing out loud (which was rather difficult to explain to my rudely-awakened roommates), not least of which is that my computer invariably assures me that my 'Virtual Memory Minimum is Too Low' as soon as the Bloo Sparkly starts a'sparkling. So sparkly that my computer cannot handle it - it boggles the mind! No wonder Holmes loves it so!

Fortunately, I applied my typical strategy when it comes to dealing with stubborn technology - which is to say that I ignored the problem and the rest of the animation continued unhindered. Which is just as well, for I may have had to resort to violence if I hadn't witnessed the stunning conclusion!

I'm looking forward to the (immediate, if you please!) continuation!

Oh wow, lol. I love the hat bit. As that part always made me crack up while reading it.

no, it's not your computer, it was the silly file hosting service -- they had a bad hair day a week ago or so and ditched a bunch of files. but it should be up and working again now!

I did a REDH one that can be found here: Stick-Figure Red Headed League!

and there's a short, marginally related stick-figure animation about which hat reigns supreme here: Hat craziness (no, seriously, it's bizarre)

glad you liked this one, hope you enjoy the others!

(:

p.s. I *am* considering which one to do next...
